Is all this legal?
Yes. Our services are legal for us to perform and legal for you to hire. We conduct every investigation in full compliance with the law, which also protects the value of the evidence we collect.
Can an investigator put a GPS tracker on someone’s car?
Generally not. California Penal Code section 637.7 prohibits using an electronic tracking device to determine the location or movement of a person, with exceptions such as the registered owner of the vehicle consenting. We do not use methods that put you or your case at legal risk. Ask us about lawful alternatives, such as surveillance by trained investigators.
Can what you find be used in court?
Evidence gathered lawfully and documented properly can support legal matters, and we provide professional reports upon request. Whether it is admissible in a particular case is decided by the court, so we recommend working with your attorney.
